Grand Table Duo
A gilded art-deco card room in gold and emerald, with playing cards, a mahjong tile and a golden chess knight on a pedestal under the name Grand Table Duo.

A game collection for iPhone Duo, iPhone and iPad

Twenty-seven tables. One gilded card room.

Grand Table Duo is a 1920s club where every game has a table of its own: cards, casino machines, boards from two continents and a wheel for the whole party. It is built around the fold of iPhone Duo, and on devices with Apple Intelligence the dealer finds his own words. Three tables are free for good. One purchase opens the rest.

Made for iPhone Duo

One half to watch, one half to touch

Every table is drawn in two halves. Prop an iPhone Duo half open and the fold falls exactly between them.

Above the foldThe table, the wheel or the machine, whole and seen from above, with the other players at its rail.
Below the foldYour cards, tiles and chips, flat under your hands, where nobody else can see them.

Hold it like a book and the halves stand side by side. Close it and the whole club is on the outer display. On any other iPhone or iPad the same two halves share the screen.

Apple Intelligence

A dealer who finds his own words

On devices with Apple Intelligence the dealer is more than a voice track. Two things happen, both on the device:

He speaks to the hand you just played
After a result the dealer says one dry line about it, written for that moment and in the language you play in. No two evenings sound the same.
He keeps the table even
At Mahjong, Fight the Landlord, Guandan and Tractor he watches your recent hands and seats the regulars at the level that makes a fair match. You can still set it yourself.
Nothing leaves the device
The words are written on your iPhone or iPad. No hand, no result and no text is sent to us or to anyone else.

Without Apple Intelligence the club has its classic dealer, and the level follows your results by simple arithmetic. Every table plays the same either way.

The kind of thing he says

A wheel straight on the river. The Count will not sleep.

Three bombs and a spring. The landlord owes you an apology.

The house thanks you. Another?

House rules

A club with manners

Real rules
Checked table by table. Skat is bid the way it is played, sayer to hearer. Guandan opens with tribute. At Xiangqi nobody may check for ever.
Regulars worth beating
Vinnie, Lola, Detective Hale and the Count play at nine levels, and can settle on the one that matches your form.
A band in the room
A lounge trio plays Joplin, Satie and Tchaikovsky in the West wing and old folk tunes with a flute at the Chinese tables. Every card and chip has its sound.
Seven languages
English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, 日本語 and 简体中文. Change it inside the app, whatever the phone speaks.
Your chips, kept
Game Center saves your progress and keeps the leaderboard. Switch it off and nothing leaves the device.
Nothing watching
No account, no adverts, no tracking, no data collected.

For play only

Chips are counters, not money

Chips cannot be bought, sold or cashed in. The house hands you 5,000 every day and again whenever you run out, so nobody is ever kept from a table. There is no real-money gambling here and nothing to win but the game. Success at these tables says nothing about results at real-money gambling.
